2.Hindi: Agatha, Agasti, chogache, gaach-munga, agathiya, sadabsna

3.Kannada: Agase, agache, kempagase, chogache, agasi, chogchi, Tamil: Agati

4.Malayalam: akatti, aagatti, atti, argatti,akatti,athi,agtti

5.Teleugu: Avisa, Avishi.

6.Oriya: Agastee

7.Gujaratti: Agathiyo, ayathio, agath-thi-nar

8.Bengali: Bak, Bagphal, Bak, bansapul, vak, agahi, badna, vasna


Medicinal Uses

1.Worm Infestation: Intake of agastya leaves juice 10-20 ml in empty stomach, early morning for 2 weeks can expel the intestinal worms.

2.Headache: 2-3 drops of agastya leaves juice is used as nasal drops in the morning to cure sinusitis  and headache.

3.fever: The paste of agastya leave can be extremely applied over the body to subside the fever.

4.Night Blindness: Administration of 3gms of agastya flowers paste processed in ghee recommended for night blindness

5.Colic: 5gms of agastya bark powder is boiled in 100ml of water till it reduces to 25ml, Oral administration of this decoration added with salt and hing relieve abdominal colic

6.Arthrities: Root and bark paste of agastya i applied externally to relieve pain and inflammation associated with arthritis and gout
