Medicinal Uses
1. Prameha (Diabetes): intake of 25 ml Amalaki juice added with 3 gms of turmuric powder twice a before food is useful in prameha (Urinary disorders including Diabetes)
2.Rejuvenation: Regular intake of amalaki fruits is recommended for rejuvenation, It retains vitality, increases life span, youthfulness and resistance power.
3.Eye Diseasess: 3 gms of Triphala churna (amalaki, haritaki and vibhitali, along with honey and ghee is used intrnally in early morning on empty stomach, beneficial for Eye Disesses.
4.Laxative: 10-15 gms of Triphala Powder (amalaki, haritaki nd vibhethaki) is used internally with hot water after food at night.
5.Grey hair: External application o the paste of 50gm henna leaves, 50 gms amalaki. 10 Hibiscous flowers over the scalp and hairs, keep it for 1 hour before taking hea d bath once or twice a week is beneficial in premature greying hair.
6.Amlapitta(Acid peptic disorder): Equal quantity of Amalaki fruits, hatavari root, sugar made into fine powder. Taking 5gms of this mixture along with ghee and honey in early morning on empty stomach for 40days is beneficial.
